Trust The Status Quo, Darlings

Jakey be lazy today.

So with few comments, here’s some of our guru inbox:

Yup.

That happens.

Definitely this happens.

There we go.

As usual there are hundreds more that ole VanderBeardface hasn’t screenshot or saved for you.  C’est la vie, kittehz.

Suffice it to say that the lens sellers are basically and simply put, liars.  Or just hopelessly mis-educated.  They sell you garbage that makes you worse, messes up your eyes calibration, forces you to depend on their 5000% marked up nonsensical treatment.

People who don’t like to ask questions, people who are fine being the lowest common denominator, are good with all that garbage.

That’s a lot of people.

Hopefully not you.  Go make some 20/20 gains.

-Jake

A Trove Of Eyeball Updates

The wholiest of wholy guru hasn’t beguiled you with a summary of progress updates, lately.

I know what you’re dealing with.  Neglect.  It’s awful.

That old hooligan spends way too much time playing with illegal sidecar rides, and not enough on the Library of Eyesight-Alexandria here.

Let’s library-ize.

First off, Tom.  Tom makes me wonder who big endmyopia is really getting, with this story:

Interesting, right?  Random?  Who knows.

Then, a very kind update from Alejandro:

People are awesome.

Next up, proof that anything you say online, can and might be used against retail optometry dogma:

Like seedlings.  Just a mention somewhere, a random review, might change someone’s trajectory.

Daniel here is changing his trajectory:

Endmyopia is such a relatively easy thing for massive self improvement.

Even if you don’t pay ole Jakey for it.

Here’s a nice -6.50 to -4.50 gains update, to round out this summary post:

Love the e-mails.

Some days I feel ‘rich’, at least in the aspect of being able to contribute something positive to our shared existence.  Trite as it sounds, it seems surreal and humbling and exciting and at least partially undeserved.  Being able to find a thing and share a thing that reaches you, out there, and has you making positive changes to your life.

Amazing stuff.

Share the journey of 20/20 gains!

Cheers,

-Jake

Dave: -2.50 To 20/20

Heyyyy.  Haven’t done one of these in a while.  Fully recovered 20/20 gainz:

Super cool for Dave.

Also for all the mouth breathers who keep going “hey but Jake has anybody ever actually gotten back to 20/20”.  Search function.  Use eeeeeeeit.

20/20 recovered posts.

Somebody called ole Jakey ‘ornery’ in an e-mail the other day.  Guess that’s not too far off.

Also if you do Twitter, follow our official channel debunking endmyopia.  I’d recommend not doing social media at all.  But if you do, do it sarcastically and without reading comments.

Keep making those 20/20 gains!

Libby: Took Off My -5 Diopter Glasses. Is This Even Possible?

You won’t truly start to get to know your eyes, till you take off those glasses.

– Ancient Wise Proverb

It’s weird to be the dude forever and repeatedly saying the thing that should really be self evident:  Your eyes are fine.  Meanwhile the establishment selling you a ‘treatment’ at 5,000% profit markup, a treatment that keeps you coming back for more, higher doses, that establishment – are lying to you.

Shocker.  Who’d have thought.

Of course exploring these things depend on your disposition.  Some people are trusting.  That’s probably good and feels nice and works out and has it’s place.  Other people, less trusting.  Others yet, plainly disagreeable and filled with sarcasm and rants.

Like the most wholey-iest of gurus.  Always looking upon proceedings with dubiousness and disinclinations of faith-s.

Once in a rare while Jakey is right.  Like about every single last thing that retail optometry is telling you, being a giant pile of lies and ignorance and profiteering.   And that everything worth knowing about myopia is easily found in clinical science and that reversing your diopter dependence is eminently feasible for all.

Here’s an e-mail from Libby, a new explorer of the wholy shrines of endmyopia:

Would you just look at that.

So Libby is dipping the toes into the waters of eye wisdoms.

And finding what has been foretold many times.  Between close-up strain ciliary spasm and general overcorrection of diopters, it’s common that you can reduce a diopter – before you even truly get started.  You start to understand your own eyes, regain strain awareness, getting a sense of agency, data to start questioning the monkey show of a nonsense narrative from the for-profit 100 billion dollar a year mainstream of optometry hacks.

It’s an option.

Jakey doesn’t care either way.  Go full rabbit hole, become a BackTo20/20 member.  Or also, don’t.  Jakey has already made all the money.  Try it, don’t try it, remain a slave to some weird illogical retail optometry dogma, or free yourself from lens dependence.  You decide what’s best for you.

Humanity has far bigger issues than just their very obvious literal and figurative shortsightedness.  The last few years have been just another chapter is endless f*ckery.  From vaccines that very clearly do not seem to work entirely as advertised, to wars that are just plain insane, to the shocking level of thievery in government money printing.  The forthcoming inflation that is about to be visited on all of the peasantry that doesn’t hold the reigns of power will be … eye opening.

Luckily at least some of us are losing trust in mainstream media, less blind faith in endless symptom treatments, a bit more asking questions, a bit less towing the party line.

Either way, kittehz.  Follow the path to the light, or sit in darkness.  It’s all your own personal journey.

20/20 gains.  It is the way.

Cheers,

– Jakey VonPhilosophenstein

Michael: -10.00 To -5.75 Diopter Progress

Back to posting some progress updates more regularly (let’s see how long that lasts).

Here’s Michael’s update, from a starting -10 diopters:

His updates and comments are here in our forum.

Yes, you’ll need an account to see these posts.  We went from being totally open to all lurkers for years, and free to sign up, to members-only a while back.  Way too many people, way too much anonymous browsing, nobody loves to be indexed by Google either.  Plus moderating efforts and all that, lot of work for nobody getting paid since we don’t do ads or anything either.  Jake’s got beaches to be on, wings to foil.

To get in, either buy a course, support endmyopia.  Or hang around the Facebook group, every month or so I give out free invites (they get taken super quick so … snappey snap!).

Theme of endmyopia is likely to continue to be sarcasm and not trying to feed all the lazy masses with just the steps.  Better eyesight is a semi-serious project for semi-serious people who really want to get it done.  There’s way too much noise from the quick-fix crowd, and I don’t have the patience and energy for all that.

Stop crying Jake, you’re thinking.

Fine.  Everything is ‘open source’ and available.  It does take some initiative and effort.  Michael cut his lens dependence by 50% already.  From double digits to moderate myopia, that’s pretty awesome.  Give him a few more years and he’ll barely be needing glasses at all.

This is achievable.

Keep making those 20/20 gains.

Cheers,

-Jake

Axial Length Reduced: Biometry Results

We pontificate here quite a bit on axial length reduction being the underlying biology change associated with our improving eyesight.

Pontificate.  That’s the key word here.

We don’t really know.  Because we’re not even real scientists or professionals or funded by some lens manufacturing interests or otherwise well enough organized to conduct proper studies.

What we are is heathens.  Having personal experiments.

Nonetheless, heathenry as it may be, we have axial length related resources in the wiki.  I also point out studies here and here and here.

Really, who cares.  It’s all debatable.  The mission of endmyopia is to sow discontent among retail optometry fleeced customers.  Discontent, dissent and questions and also figuring out actionable tools to improve your eyesight.  Whether or not we have the ‘why this happens’ part correct, is secondary.  Interesting, but secondary.

With ole Jakey you’re looking at a dude who’s got nothing to gain (besides 20/20 but already been there, done that) and also nothing to lose from this process.  Either way.

Here’s Tyler’s update from over in our Le Meow forum:

Hey guys thought I’d share something interesting below I’ve attached results from my 1st biometry from around 1 year ago and then the results I’ve just gotten today.

Looks like there’s been a measurable change in the axial length of the eye reducing respectively by 0.08 mm in the left eye and a whole 0.1 mm in the right eye.

There’s also a few other measurable changes in the dimensions of the eye.

Sure the results might be slow but they’re definitely there.

Remember guys myopia can only get worse and never get’s better.

Now, is this proof of any sort?

F*ck no.

The only thing this proves is that the beard is glorious and full of wisdom, and that there are screenshots of papers with numbers on it.   If you’re a member of Le Meow, here’s the original thread.

You do you.  Maybe that includes 20/20 gains.

Cheers,

-Jake

Doctor: “How’d You Do This?”

It’s been quite a while since we’ve done any flexing of the 20/20 gains.

Of smirking at the mainstream narrative of, you know.  “Mysterious” and “genetic”.

So let’s.  Flex ‘n smirk.

What is this, you say.  Eyesight improving?

I know, I know.  Tall tales of far fetched far fetched-ness.  I won’t say that this isn’t another Internet scheme of wishful hopeful dreamers.

Your favorite old collector of these tales used to have -5 diopter eyesight.  Now 20/20.  It’s all musings and conjectures, and individual journeys and experiments.  Be skeptically curious, do some research, note the twenty thousand members in our Facebook group and ninety thousand monthly page views in our private forum.

If anything, a lot of people are curious to not be dependent on corrective lenses, for life.

Also add this one to our collection of opto confirmed gains

Go forth and … you know what I’m saying.

Cheers,

-Jake

20/20 Gains Updates

Haven’t done one of these 20/20 gains updates in quite a while.

Below is largely just what I grabbed from what’s been posted in our Facebook group today and yesterday.  Yes, this is just a day’s worth of updates.

Plus a few e-mail that I had screenshot-ed.

Let’s have a look!

Kerry, from -7.00 to -5.25:

Trevor, from -3.50 to -1.50:

An from -5.50 to -4.00:

Minty, reduced diopter dependence by 2.25 diopters:

Chris, from -1.50 to -0.50:

Davey, no more glasses:

Yulia, from -6.00 to -4.75:

Of course there are hundreds more, the only way I could get them all up is hiring somebody to keep updating this section of the site.  Humbling of course looking back over the years, how far we’ve come together.  There was a time this was just idle rants and the occasional straggler being wiley enough to experiment on their own.  Now, more updates than I can post!

Love the progress posts and e-mails, please do keep them coming.  They make my day, and I do try to post highlights every once in a while!

Cheers,

-Jake

Andie: From -3.00 To No More Glasses | Shortsighted Podcast

Heya there, kittehz.  Have yee missed The Shortsighted Podcast?

No you say, Jake.  Barely remember you had that thing.

Well either way.  A new episode is impending, this time with Andie talking about her 20/20 gains.

A certain old bearded recluse that we won’t mention by name didn’t bring his podcast gear though, so the audio on my end is a bit less than spectacular.

Still:
